CAPRI Institute of Hair Design was founded in 1961.  The founder was highly regarded and well known throughout the tri-state area as “the man with the golden scissors.”  He asserted a vision that could reach far beyond the mainstream of the industry and planted a solid seed rooted out of his love of teaching. His passing in early 1983, CAPRI Institute, Cosmetology Training Centers have continued to flourish and demand the highest of standards under the assured direction and focus of a new ownership.  Along with the energetic expertise of the Director: including the enduring dedication of the Area Supervisor, Office Manager, Controller, and the established guidance of CAPRI Institute Staff, Faculty and Instructors; together, have mad CAPRI the preferred choice in beauty education.  This collective effort has propelled CAPRI’s five campuses including Clifton, Kenilworth, Brick, Paramus and Roxbury into the permanent fixtures that they are today. In combination with its resilient reputation, CAPRI Institute has consistently demonstrated and encouraged excellence with true commitment for continual growth.
