I recently started going to Dr.Haroush for doggie daycare and boarding. When I was given a tour (by an adorable receptionist with glasses) I was amazed by the hospital. I then made a wellness visit to meet the doctor and was impressed by his thorough physical examination on my pets. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is pretty nice. I also love the cute brown and white dog that escort you around the hospital.

Dr. Haroush first came to my attention six years ago when I heard about the many life and limb saving operations he performs at the Animal Health Center in order to help defray costs at the local SPCA when they have challenging surgeries. I was curious to learn more about this well-known surgeon respected for his compassionate heart and medical skills. So I stopped in to the Animal Health Center, and met the good doctor himself. Thereafter, I began bringing my pet cat to the Animal Health Center during its non-emergency hours for wellness exams, dental procedures, noninvasive ultrasound exams, and vaccines (including the non-adjuvanted vaccines that Dr. Haroush can provide). Ive come to trust Dr. Haroush as a very talented and unusual individual; quite passionate about his profession; not afraid to take on challenging cases; and eager to invest in the finest, state-of-the art medical equipment that will help his patients. He took a skin biopsy and was able to treat her for the proper condition. Dr. Haroush and his staff were very nice and helpful, always very attentative and very aware of their clients needs. They always offer complimentary services. The office is always very neat and clean. I would recommend Dr. Haroush at Animal Health Center to anyone in a heart beat! After countless visits to different top of the line hospitals, with different vets, and tons of miss-diagnosis, I finally came across a wonderful Vet, Dr. Haroush at Animal Health Center. Dr. Haroush was able to diagnose my cat within minutes of performing a physical exam. Since then I've always have said that he is The God for animals! After his surgery, he has helped my cat get back to normal and finally give him his life back. I love Dr. Haroush for offering him peace and tranquility. Dr. Haroush is a wonderful, knowledgeable, caring, trusting and loving Veterinarian. Every time we come to the office he and his staff always welcome us with open arms. I can't praise Dr. Haroush and his staff enough for not only giving my little shih-tsu, EbonyStar, her life back but for the kind and compassionate way everything was handled. Ebonystar had been suffering from pain and lameness for 4 years; even after I had taken her to several vets in westchester and manhattan. She had surgery that did nothing to help her problem and this is after spending several thousand dollars hoping to help her. In less than 45 minutes, Dr. Haroush not only diagnosed her problem but was sure he could help her and scheduled Ebony for surgery 2 days later without even being concerned about how he was going to be paid. He worked with me and arranged for a mutually agreeable plan. What I'm stressing is money wasn't an issue with Dr. Haroush, Ebony Star's well being was. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. Almost a month later Ebony is not only pain-free but walking on a leg she couldn't stand on a few weeks ago. God Bless you Dr. Haroush & staff!!!

Dr. Haroush is an excellent diagnostician, he has not only diagnosed my dog (with a difficult to treat neurological disorder) He has also diagnosed and treated my sister's dog as well. My Dog Rocket had been misdiagnosed for many years and was on many needless med's, but my sister's dog was also at deaths door, with a rare thyroid disease.
