Okanogan Douglas Hospital, located in Brewster, Wash., is a more than 50-bed facility approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Established in 1949, it offers a variety of health care services, including medical specialties, such as surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, radiology and orthopedics. It has added an assisted living facility, Healthbeat Fitness Center, and a nuclear medicine department. It offers various inpatient facilities, including an intensive care unit staffed by licensed nursing personnel 24 hours a day, a full range of surgical services, obstetrics and a nursery. It provides outpatient services, such as emergency room available 24 hours, seven days a week with a physician and licensed nursing staff on call and a laboratory for various tests, including X-ray, CT scan, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound.
