In 1969, Ray and Bea Gagner founded Weathervane Seafood Company, which owns and operates the restaurant chain of Weathervane Seafood Restaurant. The first restaurant was opened in Kittery, Maine, and established a tradition of serving generous portions of fresh quality seafood at a reasonable price. Weathervane is a full-service restaurant that provides customers with a menu that includes crab cakes, pasta, soups, salads, Maine lobsters, a variety of shrimp, fried haddock, scallops, chicken tenders, swordfish, steak and grilled chicken.
