I cant say enough about this dentist. She certainly has a gift with kids. My 3 year old needed a cavity filled and I felt awful he had a cavity at all, but was more worried about how he would sit still for a fililng when he cant sit for a checkup with my "adult" dentist. I was refered to Dr. Fister and am so glad and grateful. My boy sat through initial exam with her because she really put him at ease, joked with him and showed him all of her tools and let him hold his own mirror, giving him some control . He thought the whole process was fun. Next appt, she did the filling with only nitrous oxide for treatment and I got to observe. He was concious, happy, and distracted by the tv above him. I couldnt have asked for a better appt. I had my reservations due to his age and am glad I gave nitrous oxide a try, it is fast acting and reversible. Dr Fister did so well with my little guy and let him pick out a toy for being so brave. He even asked today when he could go back.that says a lot!
