Saturday morning started with driving around looking for place to eat breakfast. We stumbled upon Bessie's. We walked in and noticed not much seating and had to share a table with others. We ordered our food and listened to every one talking. They all knew each other and were very friendly. The food was cooked perfectly and our waitress was very nice. We would go back again. It was okay to sit with strangers, they were nice and kept to themselves. We enjoyed our breakfast and would go back there again.

If ambiance is not what you require then Bessie's is the place for you. The food is amazing-everything on the menu. I am especially fond of their fried chicken dinner. The one downfall is the canned vegetables. It's a small place and a local secret so it fills up quickly. They do take-out orders and have an ice cream window in the summer. Some of the waitresses have been there for years and remember your name and your order. The prices can't be beat.
