I went to Alpine Spa for my wedding day hair and make-up, and I had such a GREAT experience. First, Heather did my make-up. She was really friendly and first we talked about the look I was going for (natural or dramatic, etc.). She asked my input on colors at several points in the session, which was nice. She did an especially good job on my eyes - they looked great. You could tell I was wearing make-up, but it wasn't overdone. In the end, I was so pleased with how my face looked. Plus, it definitely lasted all night - I didn't have to touch up anything! I just got my professional pictures back and the make-up was perfect. After make-up, I had my hair done by Misty. She is super nice and I had met her previously when I dropped off a picture of what I wanted. She did a wonderful job and I got SO many compliments on my hair! My hair is very straight and slippery, so I wondered ahead of time if an up-do would hold - and it did! She knew EXACTLY how to "engineer" the hairstyle!

This place is great, right in town and a relaxing place to get a spa pedicure! The best part is that it changed ownership last year and the new owner is very sweet. Great Massage!!

Alpine Salon and Spa is THE Salon to go to in Breckenridge. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to get a mani/pedi - this is your place! I just experienced one of the best manicure and pedicure I've ever had...and I'm a licensed cosmetologist. I want to mention that there are a couple of reviews that are not so good, but I absolutely disagree. I think that those reviews were written when the previous owner was in charge and so they do not apply at this point. We come to Breckenridge for at least a month every summer. This year we noticed that there are not a lot of places to get your nails done here. Alpine Salon and Spa is here though, and we plan on going there again before we leave. I highly recommend this place. I normally don't write reviews, but my experience was so nice and I wanted to let people know that those couple of not so good reviews are just not accurate. Check them out for yourself...I'm sure you will be glad that you did.

My daughter, her friend, and I had a fantastic experience here! Mike's massage was outstanding, and my daughter's friend also raved about her massage. My daughter had a facial and was so impressed -- it was terrific and the technician gave excellent advice on products and skin care. We also all had manicures and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Alpine! Would definitely return on a future trip to Breckenridge.

I had a great experience at this spa today. They opened early for my 10:00 appt - Amanda gave me the best massage I have ever had. I also had a great manicure! Eric the owner was very polite and nice and the place was clean and comfortable. I will be back !! thank you!!!

I had a great experience with the Alpine Salon and Spa. Donnis did an AMAZING job on my hair for my wedding - got compliments on it all night and I felt so beautiful. It even held for 3 days later! The salon staff was helpful - we ran into a hiccup after the stylist who did my trial suddenly left the salon. They offered me another trial at no cost which I felt was an appropriate solution.

As of August 2011, Alpine Spa and Salon has a new owner. We are striving to be the best spa and salon in Summit County. We have the best view in town, overlooking the town and the ski mountain, and we have a great staff of trained professionals to help create a memorable experience. If you have had a negative experience in the past, I would encourage you to revisit us and experience the new Alpine Spa and Salon.

A bright, comfortable salon with experienced, friendly owners and staff. Great location with a view of the mountains. Eric is an exceptional stylist. By far the worst spa experience I have ever had. The owner is loud and rude. She is completely degrading to her customers and clients. They do there manis/pedis right in the middle of the lobby so I had the pleasure of listening to her for over an hour. She even told the receptionist that I looked "tired or hung over" while I was sitting right there. I was charged for a massage that I didn't receive because I was late. I fully expected to pay for it, as that is standard procedure at most spas but the owner rubbed it in the entire time we were there, she even congratulated her masseuse right in front of us for getting paid for two massages that she didn't have to do. I tipped the nail tech extra because I feel sorry for anyone who had to work for this woman. If you go make sure to take earplugs!
