David Luke taxidermy brings the finest in waterfowl and gamebird taxidermy to the discriminating sportsman and wingshooter. David has been practicing the art of taxidermy for over 35 years, learning to utilize “old school” techniques, combined with modern equipment, materials and concepts, to bring the finest in bird taxidermy to sportsmen and women, around the world.Hundreds of wingshooters across the Nation have David Lukes taxidermy art in their dens and offices, as well as museums, schools and business offices, worldwide.An avid wingshooter and shotgunner since youth, David grew up hunting the West with his father and brother. Beginning a modest taxidermy business in the late 1960s, performing taxidermy for friends and clients, led to the large facility today, (the showroom boasts over 500 various animal, fish and bird mounts!) located in Mandeville, Louisiana. David still continues to wingshoot, traveling across America annually, and now offers, in addition to fine taxidermy art, wingshooting adventures World-Wide.
