Amanda Hayes is a certified family and adult nurse practitioner. Amanda understands the unique healthcare challenges and needs of area residents. She specializes in prevention and wellness, health screenings and the diagnosis, treatment and management of chronic and acute illnesses. Amanda earned a nursing degree from UL Lafayette, where she later completed a masterâ??s degree in nursing specializing the adult nurse practitioner role. She also earned post-masterâ??s certification from the University of Massachusetts at Boston specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition to being certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in the roles of Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner, she is BLS/ACLS certified.
