Branford High School offers general academic programs to students in grades 6 through 12. The school has a library and media center that provides a variety of study materials to enhance the curriculum, as well as the learning needs and styles of all students. Branford High School provides academic instruction in language arts, math, science, social studies, art, music, reading and computer technology. In addition, the school offers English as a Second Language classes to non-English speaking students. Branford High School maintains a team of guidance counselors who address the academic, personal, social and career development needs of students. Branford High School also offers advanced placement programs in statistics, computer science, biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, aquatic science and environmental systems.
