Robert Bennis Elementary School, located in Brandon, S.D., offers educational and extracurricular programs for grades kindergarten through six and for children with special needs. The school provides lessons in foreign languages, mathematics, English, social studies, music, science, computers and physical education. Robert Bennis Elementary puts special emphasis on the development of reading, writing and mathematical skills. It also encourages its students to take ownership and responsibility in their daily lives. Students can also participate in sports such as soccer, chess, baseball, softball and athletics. The school is affiliated to the Brandon Valley School District, a governmental agency also responsible for Brandon Valley High School, Brandon Valley Middle School, Valley Springs Elementary School and Brandon Elementary School.
