Dr. Rivera graduated from the University Of Nevada School of Medicine and trained at the University of South Florida Department of Ears, Nose and Throat program. He is board certified and his interests lie in pediatric ENT, thyroid surgery, allergy, sinus surgery and facial cosmetic surgeries. Dr. Rivera is fluent in Spanish and English. He had been married for 23 years and has 2 children. On his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. *Dr. Rivera has volunteered his time to the following organizations/causes: Judeo-Christian Clinic Veteran Support Groups President Florida Society of Otolaryngology Assistant Clinical Professor, USF Department of Otolaryngology Chairman Department of Otolaryngology, St, Josephs Hospital *He has earned many prestigious awards and recognitions, including the following: U of Nevada, Golden Key National Honor Society 2 Air Force Commendation Metals Distinguished graduate Air Force NCO Leadership School Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society Dean Scholar Award, University of Nevada , School of Medicine Plenary Award, Western Research Forum, 1997 Moffitt Cancer Center 2002 Physician House Staff of the Year
