Located in Braintree, Mass., East Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school offers classes in English, mathematics, science, social studies, computers, reading, writing and research. It has several departments, including foreign language, English as second language and special education. The school s extracurricular activities include art, chorus, orchestra and band. East Middle School also has a parent-teacher organization that supports school activities, events and fundraising programs organized by parents, teachers and students. The school s after-school activity program runs various clubs, including cooking, board games, Legomaniacs and junk box wars. It additionally organizes various cultural arts programs, such as the Egypt lady, meteorologist, grupo fantasia and knight of culture.
