At Puppy Patch Pre-School we have been serving Manatee County since 1981. Our goal is to help children develop into competent human beings, endowed with a zest for life and an appetite for all that life offers. Our role is to understand the skills a child needs to learn and introduce activities and materials that lead to learning. We offer before & after school care for children from 12 months to 5 years old. We also participate in the State of Florida Voluntary Pre-K Program. They allow career violent felons to be around children. Val Nichols drove the kids around for months without a license. When they were informed they did NOTHING about it

Funny, reading the reviews i have the same outlook as the last one.... I also took my daughter there for 3 years and LOVED it!! The teachers were wonderful, the building is very secure, they don't just watch the kids but they teach them everything beyond their age. My daughter learned so so much there and was very advanced for kindergarden. But i had the same problem where i ran into a few of the younger teachers out and about (not places you'd like to run into your child's teacher!). I agree 100% that the place is wonderful but i would not recommend the highschool teachers. Other than that i loved it

This school is wonderful. My daughter attended for about 3 yrs and it was great until the last yr she was there. I think it was just the new teachers (former highschool students). I ran into one at at bar a few times and those younger ones were the ones who cared more about themselves. Other than that i had a great experience there.
I have been taking my daughter there for a year now and she loves it. Puppy patch is a great school. The building is very secure with someone at the front desk at all times. All the teachers are very nice and are willing to help with anything. Every day is a learning experience there and it they make it fun for the kids. They are reasonably priced also (VERY affordable compared to other preschools in the area, and better too!!) I love Puppy Patch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great preschool that you can count on.
