Freedom Village Lifecare Community has been operational for more than 40 years. Located in Bradenton, Fla., Freedom Village is a full-service, assisted living and Alzheimer's disease care community. The village is a part of American Retirement Corporation, and serves more than 5,000 senior citizens annually. It offers a wide variety of services, such as outpatient, home care, specialized programs for cancer, diabetes, heart attack and strokes, and rehabilitative services. Freedom Village also offers state-of-the-art fitness centers, commercial Health Maintenance Organization health plans, and medical services for Alzheimer's disease, memory disorders and dementia-related illnesses. Additionally, it provides grief support for children, cardiac rehabilitation services, cancer care, diabetes education programs, diagnostic services, occupational medicine, pain management, pulmonary rehabilitation, and preventive heart scan services.
