My first visit to diva & my last! Was first appt & gal was 15 min late getting in as I was first appt for day. I went there as I had coupon & wanted somewhere closer than my regular gal in sarasota who does an awesome job btw. So the pedi was far from special. No massage hardly. Then I got French gel on nails. I drove home to see that few nails were not completed right at all. Then I look at bottom of my feet & they looked horrible! Had to drive all way back for her to fix French on hands. Now I am scrubbing my own feet with pomace ! Never again to save $5 with a coupon! Only royal nails in srq from now on for me!!

I made an appointment to take my elderly mother into the salon for a pedicure and manicure as a Mother's Day gift. My Mother was so excited. The short, thin, young man, started belting out commands at us.Sit, wait, pick out polish, follow; I felt he was very disrespectful. But I held my tongue. After the lady who arrived late, that was doing our pedicure and manicure was reprimanded by the short, thin, man, my 82 year old mother and myself, attempted to take seats next to one another at the pedicure tubs, when the lady shouted, "No, sit there, sit here", I finally expressed my disappointment and told the male that I felt that he was rude. He exploded in anger and started getting in my face, jumping up and down and yelling at me that he was not rude, Then his mother came over and put her hands on me and told me that was her son and she was sorry.. What was going to be a special outing for my 82 year old mother, turned into a bad memory. I will never recommend Diva Nail to anyone.

As I am sure many people have experienced in many nail salons, it just is so rude of the employeees to speak in their native tongue. It makes the customer feel as though they themselves are being talked about, especially when all the employees burst out laughing all at once. It would be a good business practice, I think, for the manager to not allow the empoyees to do this while working with a customer. I respect their culture, but am uncomfortable with the constant chattering while they are doing my pedi/mani.
