It is the nation s second-largest newspaper publisher in terms of circulation, with papers in more large cities than any other company. In 2004, it produced revenue of $3 billion. Its newspaper division oversees 32 dailies in 29 United States markets, with 8.5 million readers daily and 11 million on Sunday. The company also publishes more than 25 non-daily newspapers, as well as shoppers and special publications.
