Thomas Oxley, MD, PhD is an internationally acclaimed brain-computer interface (BCI) specialist and interventional neurologist, performing complex endovascular neurosurgical procedures. He is the founder and CEO of the neural interface technology company, Synchron. Dr. Oxley developed the Stentrode, an endovascular, implantable BCI that allows patients with debilitating conditions to transmit thoughts wirelessly through the skin to control an array of digital devices and perform tasks online.
