Student Health Service is a health promotion program started by the University of Montana for its students. It offers various activities that include promotion of online alcohol self-screening tools and training health care staff for screening students for medical referrals. The other activities include substance use information and dissemination through pamphlets, brochures and posters, and organizing Internet and campus and community coalition for alcohol policy review issues. It offers various specialized events, such as alcohol and drug previews, health research internships, and health education and consultation. It also provides peer education and outreach on campuses concerning sexual assault and relationship violence. It additionally offers community support and referrals to students. It offers skill building workshops, outdoor education, and community involvement and networking programs. It is located in Bozeman, Mont.
