The Wood County Justice Center is a 145-plus-bed facility that employs more than 50 staff members. The center is a part of the Wood County Sheriff's Office, which provides law enforcement, security and inmates transportation services. The Wood County Justice Center is responsible for the safety and well-being of inmates, as well as strives to maintain accreditation with the standards and regulations of the Bureau of Adult Detention of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. The center includes a full-service medical facility that provides a range of health care solutions. In addition, the Wood County Justice Center houses a kitchen that offers meals for the juvenile detention center of the sheriff s office. The Wood County Sheriff's Office has a staff of over 110 people.
