The Medical Center is a 490-bed regional health care system that has been operational for more than 80 years and is located in Bowling Green, Ky. The center and its affiliated hospitals offer a wide range of medical care services, including behavioral health care, emergency care, diagnostic imaging, open heart surgery, wound management and rehabilitative care. Its urgent care clinic offers a variety of facilities, such as X-ray, laboratory, electrocardiogram, sprain injury treatment and blood pressure screening. The Medical Center is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It is a part of Commonwealth Health Corporation, a nonprofit holding company that operates various health-related businesses.
