Local newspaper for Bowling Green, KY and surrounding communities. Rather biased in presentation of the news. Too politically opinionated with a history of omitting particulars during elections. Creating imbalanced through misrepresentation of the facts is not journalism. The first thing reporters learn is the difference between objective reporting and subjective writing. The first is just the facts, all of them; while the second is opinion.Much of the staff include current and recent journalism students from Western Kentucky University. WKU is typical of the liberal college teachings and that is carried over into the reporting of news. Inexperience is not a pass for biased journalism. The increase from 50 cents to 75 cents doesn't seen necessary for this particular newspaper.
