Based in Bowling Green, Ky., Community Action of Southern Kentucky is a non-profit organization, providing social services as well as child care and counseling services. In addition to childcare services, it provides senior services and family support services. The organization offers a range of child services, including learning through play environment, nutritious meals and education according to age groups. Community Action of Southern Kentucky provides family preservation program, low income home energy assistance, supportive housing and garden program along with annual Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Scholarship for to income-eligible individuals.
