April 7, 2011 My husband & I had a delicious breakfast at the restaurant at the Alpine Lodge & enjoyed the old time atmosphere & the many antiques & carvings on display. Our waitress was very friendly & we highly recommend a nice relaxing meal at their unique lodge.

Wonderfu!. Innkeeper, Mark Burke,and his great staff have perfected the art of West Virginia hospitality. The food and service are fabulous, the motel rooms immaculate, and the local art and antiques make for a warm cozy environment. We were treated like royalty & will be back again & again. Prices are very reasonable, but check for seasonal hours. This gem is high in the mountains and it can get mighty snowy in winter.
