Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC) is a professional ensemble of artists that produces outstanding scripts from today's hottest playwrights. Founded in 2006, BETC inspires audiences & enriches our community, providing Colorado with "Wonderful Stories, Wonderfully Told." We add to Boulder's creative identity through our theatrical leadership and exciting cross-disciplinary collaborations. The quality of BETC's work is nationally recognized, as shown by our 2015 American Theatre Wing award and selection of our new-play nominee as one of six chosen for the 2016 National Showcase of New Plays. Our award-winning ensemble members bring heart, artistry, skill, and joy to their work on the BETC stage, creating productions that spark conversations and encourage new insights long after the curtain closes.
