Though I love that this USPO is open 24 hours, I find it very inconvenient that the lobby does not have ANY postage machines, let alone the standard automat for weighing and postage. Nor does the lobby stock ANY boxes or envelopes for Priority or Express mail, as is common elsewhere. When I asked the clerk why these things are missing, the answer was that "the town is too small to support the cost." Nonsense. The town I lived in recently, McHenry, IL, had all these things in the lobby ten years ago, and it was the same size town.

Postal service employees DO NOT listen to your problem or follow through. My mail is also being returned.

I have had a P.O. box @ this location for over 8 years & in the last 8 mos. important mail is being returned to sender....Why??? I have heard every excuse such as vacations & different people handling the mail. Now,my taxes & a new credit card have been returned. Maybe, if the postal persons were not so busy visiting, going on & on about who knows what we could clear-up the problems.
