MHGS, also known as, Mars Hill Graduate School, established in 1997, is an evangelical institution. It offers master s degree programs in Christian studies and counseling psychology. The school provides the Master of Divinity degree program, which prepares students for various positions in churches, hospitals, service organizations, art studios and music recording houses. MHGS also operates a writing center that assists students with graduate-level writing skills. The school has a library that offers access to databases and books, as well as interlibrary loan services. It operates an alumni association that helps graduates develop solid professional networking and vocational skills and resources. The school organizes dinners, parties and fairs. In addition, it provides financial assistance programs. MHGS is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.
