Winsor School, established in 1886, is a private college preparatory day school providing education to girls in grades five through 12. The school has an enrollment more than 400 students and is located in Boston. Its academic curriculum includes courses in various subjects, including English, modern and classical languages, history, math, social studies and science.Its classical languages program includes works by Latin authors, and assists students in developing Latin reading skills and grammar. It also offers courses in fine arts and physical education. The fine art courses offered by the school include art, drama, music, art history and photography. It additionally offers various athletic programs, including basketball, soccer, squash, swimming and ice hockey. The school also offers career counseling services and has a library and media centers.
