Salvatore's is a delightful and much needed addition to the Seaport District's growing list of restaurants. The Menu and wine list, while not adventurous, are interesting. The food is well prepared and comes in a relatively timely manner. I especially recommend the Shrimp Crostini appetizer, which but itself is ample for lunch or a light dinner, and with a glass of one of the offered reds in wonderful.The only complaint is about the service which can be detached and inattentive and is frequently slow. Once the order is placed things move right along, but getting someone's attention before ordering or during the meal is pretty near impossible.I imagine that all that will clear up once the place has been open for 6 months or so, so if you can put some lackluster service aside, you'll enjoy a pretty fine meal.
