At Legal Sea Foods, If it isn t fresh, it isn t legal. Legal Sea Foods is a family-owned restaurant that operates more than 30 locations throughout the United States. Some of the menu items found at Legal Sea Foods include lobster roll sandwiches, seafood gumbo, shrimp wontons, New England clambake and a raw oyster bar. The founders of Legal were originally fish market owners in Cambridge, Mass. They opened their first restaurant in 1968, next door to their market and have striven ever since to retain the attitude of a fish company in the restaurant business. Legal Sea Foods maintains its corporate headquarters in Boston.
