Donald McKay K-8 School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic programs for students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school provides instruction in physical education, science, mathematics, computer studies, art and music. It organizes workshops, as well as supports YMCA and Sports4Kids after-school programs. Donald McKay K-8 School also offers educational opportunities for students with special needs. The school enrolls more than 650 students, as well as maintains a work force of over 40 teachers.
