Fortunately we had made reservations at Darryls, as the place was packed, and folks were standing on line to get in. As I walked down Northampton Street, I could hear Valerie Stevens from inside singing The Girl from Ipanema, with the band; as I thought, This is going to be a good day. Brunch was sho nuff banging. It was actually better than the last time. I thought Miss Williams (one on the original cooks from Bob the chef) was back in the kitchen. I also thought the cast from Empire was there; with all those beautiful people. I saw Lucius, but couldnt find Cookie? The house was in a celebratory mood, as it happened to be a state politicians birthday, and there were several local dignitaries present, all having fun. Austin, our favorite waiter (see attached photo) was looking for the rest of this family. Darryl Settles (the owner) walked by me, shook my hand, told somebody he was late for his sons game, and then rolled out.
