ACIS, founded in 1978, is the educational travel division of AIFS Incorporated, the American Institute for Foreign Study. It provides educational travel to Europe and the world for high school students and teachers. In addition, ACIS also offers summer study abroad and foreign exchange programs. The company s headquarters are located in Boston and it operates regional offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Sacramento, Calif., as well as foreign offices located in London and Paris. It also has affiliates in Rome and Madrid. ACIS is a subsidiary of the American Institute for Foreign Study Incorporated, a leading worldwide sponsor of educational programs for more than 50,000 students a year.
