  The law firm was founded in 1934 by Judge Salvatore E. Aloisi who, before becoming a judge, practiced law in Boston. He was Chairman of the Revere School Committee, Chairman of the State Emergency Finance Board under Governors Tobin, Denver and Herter and a Special Assistant Attorney General under Attorney General Edward McCormick. He also lectured at several local law schools. In 1970, he was appointed by Governor Francis W. Sargent as Special Justice of the Chelsea District Court and in 1973 he was elevated to Presiding Justice. While a judge, he served on the committee to recodify the rules of civil procedure in the State's district court system. He was a member of a three-judge committee implementing pre-trial diversion procedures involving the non-criminal handling of certain juvenile offenders. He also lectured judges on the rules of evidence at the Flashner Institute. He was joined in practice by his Son, Andrew in 1965. Andrew concentrates his practice on probate, litigation and business law and manages the Boston office. In 1972, his son, Peter joined the firm and opened a satellite office in Revere which eventually became the Lynnfield office in 1982. Judge Aloisi retired from the bench in 1980 and spent the rest of his life practicing law with his sons.

  Marc J. Cerone graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor Degree in English in 2002. While raising his family in Hanover, Massachusetts he attended the night program at Suffolk University Law School, graduating with his Juris Doctor Degree in May of 2018. He has been employed with the Firm since the fall of 2004. During his time there he has represented purchasers, sellers, and lenders in all phases of residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has experience with boundary disputes, 1031 tax deferred exchanges, commercial lease agreements, and other real property matters. Marc also has experience in estate planning and probate administration. He has worked on pre-trial discovery in civil cases. He oversees the management of the Boston office and its staff. Prior to his employment at Aloisi & Aloisi he interned at the Public Defender’s Office in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was also an intern for the Judiciary Committee of the Massachusetts State Legislature.

  Peter Aloisi is a graduate of Boston College (BS Degree in Marketing, 1969) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D. Degree, 1972). He was employed from 1970 to 1971 with the North Suffolk Legal Assistance Association, Chelsea, Massachusetts as a Student Lawyer engaged in representing indigent clients in Beverly, Salem, Peabody and Danvers in Probate and Landlord Tenant proceedings. Suffolk University Law School later incorporated this venture into its Legal Assistance Bureau. From 1972 to 1973, he was an attorney with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. He has been a partner in the Law Firm since 1973. He has served as Guardian ad Litem and Partition Commissioner in numerous cases since 1973. He was the first Commissioner appointed by the Land Court when that Court acquired concurrent jurisdiction in 2002, and he participated in the first annual Guardian ad Litem Roundtable at Boston College Law School.

  Andrew Aloisi is a graduate of Boston College School of Arts and Sciences and Boston University School of Law. He has been actively engaged in the full-time practice of law since 1965. He has represented clients and argued cases in all levels of the Massachusetts Judicial Court system and he serves as general counsel to several businesses and corporations. He concentrates his practice on civil litigation, estate planning and corporate law. He has been a guest lecturer at Boston College and Bunker Hill Community College and serves as a volunteer judge at the Boston College Law School Mock Trials and Moot Court. He is the author of Massachusetts Chiropractic Law and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Massachusetts Trial Lawyers Association and the Justinian Law Society. He won a precedent-setting case in the Supreme Judicial Court which held that a lawyer who successfully defends a policyholder from an insurance company's attempt to avoid its duty to defend the policyholder is entitled to collect a legal fee directly from the insurance company. He also won a case before a Superior Court Jury in Newburyport which awarded a doctor over one million dollars for an injury to his hand from a dog bite. Most recently he represented a woman pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle and lost her sense of smell due to a traumatic brain injury. The case was argued before a three judge panel that awarded the woman One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars, including interest.
