Red River Research Station offers a range of agriculture-related services. It organizes seminars, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, field days, and online and in-person classes. The station administers Lunch and Ag Discovery programs, which help consumers and the urban population to learn more about agricultural issues. It also administers programs on vegetable gardening and plant diseases. Red River Research Station provides research and educational solutions. It is a part of the LSU AgCenter, which one of the institutions within the Louisiana State University System. LSU AgCenter conducts programs on natural resources, environmental protection, family life, youth development, resource conservation, health and nutrition, and housing and emergency preparedness.
