Founded in 1940, Boring Middle School is located in Boring, Ore., and is a part of the Oregon Trail School District. The school provides education to students in grades six through eight. Its students also attend music, physical education, computer and art classes. Boring Middle School has a library media center that provides a variety of print and electronic resources. Its parent-teacher association plans and coordinates learning programs, social activities and fundraising events. The school has a gymnasium, cafeteria and band room. Boring Middle School offers various extracurricular activities, such as music, drama, dance and field trips. It additionally provides various athletic activities, such as cross-country, basketball, football, and track and field.
