David Barton Elementary School serves students in grades two through five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally has art, vocal and instrumental music and physical education specialists. David Barton Elementary School also offers gifted and talented education. It provides guidance and counseling services on conflict resolution, peer mediation, social skills, self-esteem and self-awareness. The school has a practical parenting partnership, an organization that sponsors several activities to provide support to parents, improve school and parent relationships and increase parent involvement in their child's education.
