I restored a 1975 Super Beetle and purchased a 1641cc turn key rebuilt engine. Quite simply, I could not be more pleased than I am. It was a 'plug and play' installation. Once I got everything hooked up, the engine fired up easily. Followed the run in procedure. The engine has performed flawlessly and run like a sewing machine ever since.

GEX International has been good for my business over the years. I have a small repair shop in northwestern Florida and I've probably used 15 engines from them. I have only ever had one problem on a 1600 and they took care of that immediately. So, keep up the good work guys

Had a terrific experience with GEX International. I needed an engine to go into my 1967 bug. I was concerned with spending so much just over the Internet. About 6 years ago I bought a GEX International 1914 cc dual port turnkey engine and put it into my 75 Beetle. I love driving that superfast car now. I wanted to compliment GEX on their engines. This engine has given me no problems at all. It is now time for an engine for my Buggy and Ill be calling upon GEX International again shortly.

I am planning a complete body off restoration of my Superbeetle. I was checking the internet last week and the name GEX International kept popping up. Their website looked great and they have lots of positive reviews. I talked to one of their sales people and settled on a stock 1600 engine all chromed out. If you need a good VW engine, GEX International is the place to go. I was looking for an engine for my wifes car and I stumbled across their website. I was a little unsure at first, without being able to actually touch and feel the engine before buying. But, I made the decision to buy and am glad I did. Awesome engine !!! My engine from GEX International arrived last week. It came all shrink wrapped and crated for protection in transit. Got a 1776 complete engine for my Manx buggy.
