I know this sounds to terrible to be true but birch tree apartments are worse than a trailer park. The lawn is perpetually covered in cigarettes, beer cans, liquor bottles, vomit, broken furniture, & various trash. The police are there almost everyday, sometimes multiple times a day for fights, drug deals & noise complaints. The apartments themselves are slum like, ancient appliances, filthy carpets, smashed walls & doors, broken windows, leaky plumbing, & moldy bathrooms. There are also several wrecked/broken down vehicles in the parking lot. All the apartments are 2 bedroom but some have up to 10 people living in them. I have been there when at least 14 police officers raided the entire apartment complex in March 09 in which multiple apartments were searched & several people were arrested. I have also witnessed many thefts, beatings, fights and drug deals. While living there I have been jumped & beaten, cut by girls & ripped off. I can go on & on. Like excitement you'll love it here!
