- RadiologyAs an inpatient, you will receive separate bills from the hospital and your physicians. Your bill from Boone County Hospital is for hospital services, Emergency Room professional fees, and anesthesiology services, if applicable. Your hospital bill includes tests, procedures, supplies and technologists involved in the services you received. The bill is not for other professional services provided by your physician or other physicians who conducted tests and procedures or interpreted results. Professional fees usually come from specialists in the area of cardiology, diagnostic radiology, and pathology. If you require an itemized statement or if you have questions about your bill or about your Medicare charges, please contact an Account Representative.
- MammographyBoone County Hospital purchased a new 3D Mammography™ machine. Utilizing advanced breast technology, 3D exams are clinically proven to significantly increase the detection of breast cancers, while simultaneously decreasing the number of women asked to return for additional testing.

- Wound CareHome Care Services offers a variety of inhome services so when a patient is discharged they can still receive medical care and treatment while living independently. Nurses, home health aides, occupational, physical and speech therapists provide medication assistance, IV therapy, wound care, rehabilitation, housekeeping and many other healthcare needs. Meals on Wheels, Lifeline, Beckwith Family Adult Day Services and Public Health services may also be obtained by calling Home Care Services at (515) 432-1127.
- Ankle SurgeryBCH offers a wide array of services including the Family Birth Center, a Diabetes Center, a Pain Center, Rehabilitation Services that includes physical, occupational and speech therapies, and a Wound and Hyperbaric Center. A Foot and Ankle Surgery Department was added in 2016.

- Physical TherapyThe main door at Boone County Hospital opens at 5:45 a.m., and the west and southwest (by Physical Therapy) doors open at 6 a.m. The Hospital locks its doors at 5 p.m. on weekdays, and on weekends and holidays. Please enter through the Emergency Room doors on the east side of the Hospital if the doors are locked.
