Bonham Police Department provides public safety services, information, and enforcement of laws in the city. Its crime prevention services include programs for senior citizens, neighborhood, automobile, children, family violence, sexual assault, bicycle safety, National Crime Prevention Council and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The department offers a drug abuse resistance program in partnership with Fannin County Public Schools, and uses specially trained police officers to teach a formal curriculum to students in the classroom on a regular basis. Bonham Police Department makes use of an emergency warning system that includes emergency warning sirens and the cable television emergency messaging notification system. The department is headquartered in Bonham, Texas.
