Brunswick County Solid Waste and Recycling Department is located in Bolivia, N.C. The department offers recycling services for solid waste items, municipal solid waste, yard debris, construction and demolition debris and shingles. It also recycles brown and white goods, such as furniture, mattresses, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, water heaters, washing machines and dryers. The department provides recycling services for leaves, twigs, branches, clean soil, grass and untreated wood. It also recycles various products, including aluminum cans, steel cans, newspaper, mixed paper, junk mail, windowless envelopes, batteries, cellular phones, plastic containers, corrugated cardboard and green, brown and clear glass containers. The department transfers the recycled products to its various landfill centers located throughout the state.
