I hear all Hammack Management properties are run similarly. They do not respond to repair requests, even in the case of an emergency. They allow themselves into your apartment monthly for inspections without prior notice. They tear up parking lots without notice, and do not care if you cannot get your car out to go to work. They change locks on all apartment doors without notice and expect you to be able to pick up new keys during a two-hour window at their convenience. They violate the terms of their own lease and do not acknowledge or care. They set up appointments and then don't show, don't reschedule, or acknowledge they forgot. They are highly unprofessional and disregard renters as not having any rights to know about large-scale construction or repairs and the inconveniences they cause. They once told me over the phone that tenants don't have any rights, because we don't know any better than to rent.
