Operational since 1978, Thunder Mountain Gold develops base metal projects in North America through acquisition and grass roots exploration. It focuses on the generation of precious and base metal projects in Alaska in the United States and Mexico. The company has drilling operations in the South Mountain Mine and also offers a development program for exploration and underground drilling to test the extent of mineralization. Thunder Mountain Gold provides a property acquisition program in Arizona through its subsidiary, Thunder Mountain Resources, which focuses on detachment-style mineralization related to the structure between Precambrian, Paleozoic and tertiary rocks. Thunder Mountain Gold s projects include the Trout Creek and West Tonopah. Its project, the Clover Mountain, features more than 30 lode mining claims covering over 750 acres in Idaho.
