The Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho, also known as PERSI, provides retirement, disability retirement, survivor and separation benefits to more than 100,000 public service employees. It offers a supplemental survivor's benefit and insurance plan to enhance the financial security of its members. PERSI provides pension benefits through its base plans. It conducts workshops on topics related to base and choice plans, social security and savings. PERSI also offers financial protection through death benefits. The Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho is a member of the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems Voluntary Life Insurance Plan, which is a nonprofit organization that provides education and support services to public employee retirement systems.
