Sold me a glass piece with incomplete/missing welds, acknowledged that there were incomplete/missing welds from the factory, and refused to accept an exchange or return when I returned less than an hour later. A defective product is a case where you should apologize to the customer and try to make it right, not grasp for reasons not to take it in exchange. Things slip through the cracks, but you have to stand behind your product, and if you know that it was defective then you need to take that up with your distributor, not try to pawn it off on the customer.
