Dr. Milad Alam is a board-certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with a specialty in minimally invasive surgical (MISS) techniques and motion preservation (non-fusion) surgeries for the adult degenerative spine. Dr. Alam completed his medical school training at UC San Diego School of Medicine, and his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Jackson Memorial/University of Miami hospital. He completed a combined Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC) Spine Center with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic spine surgery for treatment of adult degenerative conditions. He has also complemented his fellowship training as a visiting spine fellow at Bern University Hospital in Switzerland.
