S. Forrest Dodson, M.D.,is a board-certifiedsurgeonattheEugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health,at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.He specializes in surgical oncology andthe treatment ofliver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile duct disorders.He is fluent in English and conversational Spanish.Before joining the Institute, Dr.Dodsoncompleted a fellowship in liver, kidney andmulti-organtransplantsand hepatobiliary surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. After his fellowship,he continued to perform transplants and hepatobiliary surgery at the university for 10 years. He then moved to Chicago wherehewas an attending surgeon at Cook County Hospital and an associate professor of surgery and director of the transplantation section at Rush University Medical School in Chicago.He is a member of the AmericanAssociation for the Study of Liver Diseases, International Liver Transplantation Society, American Society of Transplant Surgeonsand American Society of Transplant Physicians.Dr.Dodsonsapproach to care is to focus on achieving the best surgical outcome for every patienttoprovidea better quality of life.
