Jeannie Saros is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. She has been a Certified Addictions Professional since 1987, and a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She completed her training in EMDR and has worked in the field of substance abuse and mental health since 1983. Her initial introduction to the field of counseling was through her mother, Susan Saros, who worked as Director of the Gestalt Institute of Quebec and remembered by many as a gifted teacher and therapist. Jeannie also completed a 3-year training program in Gestalt Therapy and had the opportunity to work with renowned professionals such as Laura Perls and Virginia Satir.
