Cheryl Moss-Mellman, M.D., is the director of clinical breast services at the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute in Boca Raton, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Moss-Mellman specializes in breast cancer risk assessments, genetic counseling and testing, breast biopsy consultations, general breast health, breast cancer prevention and high-risk management. She also leads the Institute’s Moving Forward Clinic for breast cancer survivors. There, she performs thorough evaluations, reviews each patient’s health history, provides personalized surveillance plans and works with patients to manage psychosocial issues and long-term treatment side effects.Dr. Moss-Mellman joined the Lynn Women’s Health and Wellness Institute from Diamond Personalized Healthcare, where she was an internal medicine concierge physician. She currently serves on the faculty of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians. An internist by training, Dr. Moss-Mellman takes a whole-person approach to patient care. She is committed to developing a connection and good communication with each woman she treats. Her goal is to provide patients with peace of mind in an uncertain time by reviewing their unique case, coordinating their next steps in screening and treatment, and following them closely so they know they have support in their plan of care. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Moss-Mellman enjoys spending time with her family, exercising regularly, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities.
